Faith Formation
DUE TO COVID LIMITATIONS, PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM WHICH CLASSES ARE PRESENTLY MEETING.
At Sycamore United Church of Christ, in addition to worship, we offer several opportunities for you to deepen and grow in your faith.
We offer Christian Education classes for people of all ages. All classes meet at 9:15 a.m. prior to our 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday morning from September – May except as noted below.
Children:
We offer a PreK-2nd grade class using the Shine curriculum.
3rd – 6th graders continue with the Shine curriculum
Jr. and Sr. High School
This group has two opportunities for faith formation.
We have a Jump and Jive for Jesus class on Sunday mornings
And on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings of the month our Faith In Sycamore Youth Group meets at the church at 5:30 p.m. We share a meal provided by Margaret Arter. We have discussion over our meal about current events and school/peer joys and concerns. We talk about where we see God in the world. We also plan fun activities and mission projects.
Adults
A study of the UCC handbook led by Pastor Matthew

Logos is our Wednesday after school program that runs from October through April. Our director is Kristi Ward along with many wonderful volunteers.
